Chunky rods, balls and cones built for hands that are still learning to grip.
Solid-panel tiles with the same click, for builders who want walls rather than frames.
The shape assortment built around a curriculum rather than a theme.
Doors that open, windows that frame a face, roofs that actually sit right.
Elevated track that turns a static build into something that moves.
A bakery, a station, a shop — buildings with a job and a story.
The smallest sensible starting point, and a genuinely good one.
The big box — every shape, enough of each, and room for two builders.
A small box with one very good trick: it folds flat, then drives away.
A wheel base big enough to carry the rest of the toy box.
In detail
Written for people deciding between two boxes with similar names and very different contents.
Toddler line
STICK-O is the toddler-focused branch of the Magformers family. Instead of flat geometric plates, it uses fat rods, balls, cones and wheels that connect end-to-end with strong internal magnets — a rounded, oversized construction toy aimed at the 18-month to 4-year window.
Solid-face tiles
TILEBLOX is the solid-face tile line in the Magformers family. Where classic Magformers pieces are open frames, TILEBLOX squares and triangles have a filled panel — so towers look like buildings, boxes look closed, and light plays across the surface instead of through it.
Classroom & learning
Educational Magformers sets swap themed accessories for a broader, more deliberate mix of geometric shapes — extra triangles, squares, pentagons, hexagons and often an activity booklet — so the same box supports free play and structured maths work.
Small-world play
House-themed Magformers sets add the architectural pieces a plain shape assortment lacks: hinged doors, window panels, pitched roof sections and often fences or accessories, turning tile building into small-world play.
Track & motion
SKY TRACK adds elevated rails, ramps and support structures to the magnetic tile system, so a tower stops being a tower and becomes the pillar holding up a racetrack the child designed themselves.
Wheels & motion
Vehicle sets supply the wheel bases that turn any tile structure into something that rolls — the single highest-impact add-on for a child who already owns basic tiles.
Themed buildings
Town Series sets give each build an identity: printed or moulded panels turn generic walls into shops, stations, cafés and service buildings, which is what pulls narrative play out of pure construction.
Ground layout
Road sets provide the ground plane — straight sections, curves, junctions and traffic accessories that connect buildings, vehicles and track into one continuous layout.
Starter set
A 14-piece collection is the classic entry set: a handful of squares and triangles, enough to fold a cube, build a small house and discover what the toy actually does before committing to a bigger box.
Best all-rounder
Thirty pieces is the point where a magnetic tile set stops being a demonstration and starts being a toy: tall enough for real towers, deep enough for two children, small enough to tidy in a minute.
Solid cubes
Cube Series works in three dimensions from the start: complete magnetic cubes that stack, align and hold, giving a chunkier, more brick-like build than folding flat tiles into shapes.
Large collection
Deluxe sets are the large-format option: a deep supply of squares and triangles plus the specialist shapes, accessories and wheel parts that smaller boxes leave out. This is the buy-once collection.
Themed creatures
Dino sets add creature-specific pieces — heads, tails, spines, claws and themed panels — so a pile of triangles becomes a recognisable stegosaurus rather than an abstract green shape.
Small & clever
The Wow Series is a compact set designed around transformation — a small number of pieces plus a wheel base that turns from a flat arrangement into a working vehicle, giving young builders a fast, repeatable win.
Oversized wheels
XL Cruiser sets are built around an oversized wheel base — larger wheels, longer wheelbase, more load capacity — so children can build trucks, buses and transporters that actually carry other toys.
